The Environmental Fund Project
This Fund was established to efficiently meet the financial
requirements of the environmental projects across Thailand. Under the
assistance of ODA loans, 24 solid waste disposal projects and 4 waste
water treatment projects have been formulated and approved as
sub-projects.
This study will draw up a project formulation manual for local
municipalities, which are responsible for sub-project formulation, and
screening guidelines for the Ministry of Science, Technology and
Environment, which is responsible for screening projects. The study will
also make proposals on how to address environmental and social
considerations, and invite personnel for training, in an effort to ensure
that the sub projects are executed accurately. |
